A Visitors Guide is an invaluable marketing piece for a destination. Whether you’re flipping through one in your hotel room or picking one up at a rest stop - this is oftentimes the #1 resource a traveler will use when researching or planning a visit.
Make the most oF YOUR GUIDE.
At Visit Cincy it has been my responsibility to lead this project on an annual basis. From selecting content and sourcing photos to editing text and data, this piece is something I am most proud of.

In 2023 we printed and distributed 125k copies of our Visitors Guide. In 2024 we are printed 140k copies and distributed nearly all of them. In 2025 the number we expect to distribute exceeds 187k.
Our distribution plan is something I manage, and I get our guides in rest stops, attractions and hotels from Lexington to Cleveland, with goals to increase that perimeter even further this year. I oversee these contracts personally.
Content-wise, something I was passionate about when I took on this project, was bringing Cincinnati to life using familiar faces - real locals. People you could likely run into while in our city. What do THEY do for fun? What do THEY recommend? Ask an expert a question, get an expert answer.
I was also adamant about specifically bringing people of color and other marginalized groups to the forefront. You will find examples of these features below.
This city exists because of these influences, in spite of a complicated history that at times has tried to silence them.

For the 2024 cover I wanted something that would illustrate Cincy’s unique geography - sitting on the cusp of two states.
Kentucky bourbon meets Ohio bourbon.
I staged the below photoshoot with the goal of encapsulating one of the most unique aspects about our local culture.
